African Sun are pleased to announce that we have donated a state-of-the-art refuse compactor truck to the City of Victoria Falls, reinforcing our commitment to responsible tourism and environmental sustainability within Zimbabwe’s premier tourist destination.
Aligned with our Corporate Social Responsibility pillars on waste management, this initiative supports cleaner streets, improved waste handling, and a healthier environment for both residents and visitors to the city. By working in partnership with the City Council, we are contributing to the long-term sustainability and global appeal of this iconic destination.
At the official handover ceremony in Makhosana last week, the Honourable Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Daniel Garwe, and Victoria Falls Mayor and Town Clerk, all commended this impactful Public -Private-Partnership and thanked the support of African Sun who were affectionately referenced as the City’s longest established corporate resident and “forever friends” of the City.
Together, with Council, African Sun is playing its part in preserving the beauty of Victoria Falls, not just for today, but for generations to come.
African Sun would also like to thank Croco Motors for assisting with sourcing and delivery of the refuse compactor to Victoria Falls.
