The Dingani Restaurant and Tusker Bar offer guests a true safari dining experience. Enjoy a delicious all-day menu, a flavorful à la carte selection, or a poolside cocktail with views of the watering hole. As the sun sets, head to the Waterhole Deck for sundowners while watching wildlife gather nearby.

Dingani Restaurant

Dingani Restaurant offers a contemporary flavoursome à la carte, buffet and all-day menu. Seating capacity 75 guests. Open 0630hrs-2200hrs.

Tusker Cocktail Bar

Tusker Cocktail Bar offers a variety of both local and imported winers, beers and spirits. Open 1100hrs – 2230hrs.

Pool Area

The Pool Area and King Bean coffee shop set in the middle of our well-manicured gardens offers our signature King bean burger, speciality coffees, mocktails and cocktails alongside a snack menu and can accommodate 50 guests. Operating times Monday – Sunday 08:00hrs – 18:30hrs

Waterhole Bar

This bar is located on the elevated viewing platform, it is opened on request during the low season. Guests can enjoy drinks whilst looking out over the watering hole where the animals of the bush come for their afternoon refreshments. The waterhole bar is the Ideal location for sundowners and has a maximum capacity of 30 pax.

Hwange Safari Lodge has one medium-sized conference room with a capacity to seat up to 80 delegates, depending on conference style setup.

Painted dogs are native to Africa, and aren’t found in the wild anywhere else on the planet. They live in small pockets across a handful of countries, including Zimbabwe. The Painted Dog Rehabilitation and Conservation Centre is just a short drive from Hwange Safari Lodge. The centre is dedicated to the conservation and protection of these remarkable animals through rehabilitation, education, and anti-poaching efforts. Visitors can take an informative tour of the facility, witnessing rescued and rehabilitated painted dogs up close while gaining insights into their behaviour, social dynamics, and ecological importance. A visit to this centre is both an educational and inspiring experience, showcasing the delicate balance of wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe.

What is the Child Policy?

Infants 2 years and below no charge for accommodation and meals. Children 3 -11 years staying in their own room pay 50% of adult rates on a B&B basis & 50% for other meals. If sharing with adults, accommodation is free. Breakfast and other meals are charged at 50% discount per child. Children 12 years and above pay the normal adult rate for both accommodation and meals. Inter-leading rooms at all Hotels accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children below the age of 12 years. The two rooms shall be charged as two rooms

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Any cancellations shall be subject to the following policy: Resorts, Campsites and Country Hotels Groups and Series 61+ days prior to arrival: All or part of the value of rooms reserved may be cancelled without penalty 46-60 days prior to arrival: 50% of the value of rooms cancelled will be forfeited 30-45 days prior to arrival: 75% of the value of rooms cancelled will be forfeited 0-29 days prior to arrival: 100% of the value of rooms cancelled will be forfeited FITs 46+ days prior to arrival: no cancellation fees 30-45 days prior to arrival: 50% of the value of the room cancelled will be forfeited 0-29 days prior to arrival: 100% of the value of rooms cancelled will be forfeited
